PongVenture

You control DESTEA, a magical monk looking to free the land of CILIREN from a plague of monsters. 

Using your staff you must deflect the magical blue orbs into the enemy, avoid the dangerous red orbs, and battle your way through hordes of foes on your quest to defeat SORROW, the Dark Sorceror who conquered CILIREN, unleashed the plague of monsters, imprisoned you, and enslaved your people. 

HOW TO PLAY

Select START or CONTINUE using the up key or down key or the joystick select button. 

Press ENTER or START to begin. 

KEYBOARD

Use the left arrow key (<-) to move DESTEA left

Use the right arrow key (->) to move DESTEA right

Press and hold the space bar to use magic, which will increase DESTEA's speed while it is held. 

JOYSTICK

Push the left analog stick left to move DESTEA left

Push the left analog stick right to move DESTEA right

Press and hold the B button to use magic, which will increase DESTEA's speed while it is held. 

QUIT

Press ESCAPE (ESC) to QUIT

MAGIC

Your magic is not unlimited!  Although your magic meter will slowly fill up while the space bar/B button is not being held, save magic for when you need it!

LIFE/PLAYERS

You start with 3 Players, each with 5 Hearts each.  Once you run out of Players, your game is over. 

SAVE POINTS

You will encounter magical save points during your journey, in between each level.  Be warned, you can only save one game at a time!

INSTALL

Just unzip/extract the files into a directory and run pongventure.exe.
